April 2026 Newsletter
Dear patients,
We are delighted to continue welcoming patients to our brand-new Canary Wharf office, which opened last month. It has been wonderful to bring our integrative chiropractic and holistic health services to this vibrant part of London, supporting the local community with care for posture, pain, stress, movement and overall wellbeing. Alongside Canary Wharf, our four central London locations remain open in Soho, Liverpool Street, Marylebone and Mayfair, so you can continue to choose the clinic space that best suits you.
Performance Culture, Stress and the Body: A Holistic View from a London Chiropractic Clinic
In modern life, many people no longer feel that it is enough simply to be well. They feel they must also look well, perform well, earn well, age well, love well and present themselves well. Success is no longer limited to work; it has seeped into almost every corner of life.
At our holistic and integrative chiropractic clinic in London, we see the effects of this every day. They do not always arrive with the words anxiety, burnout or overwhelm. More often, they arrive as persistent neck tension, stress headaches, jaw tightness, poor sleep, upper back pain, shallow breathing, fatigue, low mood and a nervous system that never seems to switch off.
This is one of the hidden costs of performance culture: it does not only affect the mind, it affects the whole person.

Health Tips: Post-Marathon Recovery & Hay Fever Season
If you took part in the London Marathon, recovery is just as important as training. Give your body time to settle, prioritise sleep, hydrate well, eat nourishing food and avoid rushing back into intense exercise too quickly. Gentle walking, mobility work and soft tissue support can help the body recover more smoothly.
London weather has also been changing quickly between warm sunny days and cooler breezes, and many people are beginning to feel the impact of hay fever. Simple steps can help: shower after being outdoors, change clothes after high-pollen exposure, keep windows closed during peak pollen times, rinse the nose with saline, and support the immune system with good sleep and hydration.
If you are experiencing increased tension, headaches, breathing discomfort, fatigue or body aches alongside seasonal allergies or post-event recovery, we are here to support you.

Positive News: Fermented Foods Beyond the Hype
Fermented foods such as kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir, yoghurt, miso, kombucha and sourdough have moved from niche health shops into everyday kitchens. While they are often marketed as “gut health” heroes, the truth is more balanced.
Fermented foods may support a healthy gut microbiome, and they can be a flavourful way to include more variety in the diet. However, they are not a cure-all. Some products contain live cultures, while others may be pasteurised or highly processed, reducing the potential benefit.
The most encouraging part of the trend is not just the health claim, but the return to simple, traditional food processes. Fermentation can make vegetables more interesting, reduce waste by using imperfect produce, and encourage people to eat more whole foods.
As with most areas of health, the answer is not one miracle ingredient. It is consistency, variety and choosing foods that genuinely nourish the body.
